After 11 years as an interior architect, Ben Wu left the urban and environmental design world to focus on design of a much smaller scale: fashion.
The design concept behind Ben’s label, TIAN, is the “manifested metamorphosis of new ideas and concepts by means of the exploitation of fashion”. His method of construction requires an “in depth notion of tailor engineering versus 3-D morphing”. This tailoring reinterpretation is evidenced in his avant-garde designer fashions that incorporate 3-D shapes and layers amongst the myriad of manipulated seams and darts.
